  • Spectacular Jousting

  • An unforgettable display of horsemanship, skill and daring with sword and lance. A colourful programme will run throughout the afternoon. This is a hugely popular event.

    Jousting shows at 1.30pm and 3.15pm.

  • The festival begins on 28th December 2008 and there's sure to be something to suit everyone within the complimentary of events.

  • The main event, The Hogmanay Party starts at 10.30 p.m. on New Year's Eve, when the pipeband will march the torchlight parade from the Drum Hotel, across the Drum Bridge to the car park in the center of the village.
  • The ceilidh band will take up the rhythm and the dancing will begin, then it's party time!! No matter what your age, you'll be sure to have a good time.
  • At 11.55pm we join the lone piper in the countdown to the New Year when there will be a spectacular fireworks display to mark the start of 2009.
  • Then its back to dancing until the wee small hours - 1.30 a.m., when the band plays the New Year favourite Auld Lang Syne, then it's home to bed to get ready for the next day's events .
